About Me

I have been painting and drawing for 30 years. I studied under Canadian painter Robert Bateman from 1982 to approximately 1992 and he has commended my work. I also studied under the direction of Greg Beecham in 1981.

I am currently seeking representation by a gallery that is willing to display and promote my paintings and drawings, and eventually host a showing of my work. If you are a gallery owner and are interested in representing my paintings please contact me

A number of my paintings are in private collections and corporate collections. My paintings have been displayed in group shows by galleries in Seattle, Massachusetts, and Toronto, Ontario. I have had newspaper articles written about my art. I also had paintings selected for the Weyerhauser Wildlife Calendar. From 1982 until 2000 my originals were represented periodically by Wild Wings Inc. including the Fall Festival and Originals Catalog.

I work primarily in oils, but have used the following mediums extensively: Acrylic, Alkyd, Watercolor, Gouache, Egg Tempera, Casein, Lead, and Ink.

Influences:
Maynard Dixon, LeConte Stewart, Edgar Degas, Robert Bateman, Andrew Wyeth, Peter Poskas, Van Gogh, Gauguin, Monet, Ingres, Bob Kuhn
